Christian Holslin attended the Microsoft 2009 Professional Developers Conference last year in November and learned a great deal about the current business intelligence features in SQL Server 2008 and some of the up-and-coming features in R2. This session seeks to educate its audience about the breadth of tools present in the Business Intelligence stack to further expand the aresenal of technologies for Solution Architects spec SQL Server projects. This session will also be geared towards Architects and Developers seeking to expand their skillset. Experience working with Database, Analysis, Reporting Services, and Excel is recommended. Best-case hardware configurations will also be covered.

Christian Holslin has over 10 years of professional industry experience working with Microsoft technologies with a focus on infrastructure and custom software development. Starting with Windows NT 4.0 and continuing through Windows Server 2008, Christian has been following the progression of the Microsoft Windows infrastructure which has refined his expertise in the area of SharePoint.  Christian has been building SharePoint Solutions since 2006, with specific expertise in InfoPath and Reporting. Christian has worked on projects for clients including Kellogg, Pepsi-Cola, Prudential Douglas Elliman, Parsons Brinckerhoff, and others. Christian is currently a Solution Architect for SharePoint, Business Intelligence, and SQL Server database-driven projects at Gig Werks in New York.
